You Will
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Harness Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of wiring harnesses used in [vehicles/equipment/products]. This role demands a solid understanding of electrical schematics, component selection, 3D routing, and compliance with relevant industry standards.

You must have any or a combination of any of the following skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, or related engineering field.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in harness design and development.
- Design Review and be responsible for electrical wiring diagrams and harness.
- Excellent knowledge about component selection and parametric considerations of connectors, wires, seals ,terminals with component packing to printed circuit board .
- Experienced in Manufacturing Process Line Setup for Harness , Pigtails & HV Harness Development .
- Experience knowledge in WHMA-620 or IPC-620 , ISO standard to define the wiring harness design requirement and quality requirements.
- Routing of harness/power cables in a 3d environment using UG NX or CATIA.
- Harness Bundle drawing preparation and release of 2D layout drawing , Change management.
- Ability to apply basic Quality tools, DoE, PFMEA , 8D Functional Analysis of the needs.
- Interact product designers for on time execution of both product pilot and mass production.
- Enable Part Development with suppliers to endure OTOP, PPAP , APQP process.
- Work with a cross functional team to stakeholders provide support required to deliver on time, quality and function
