- Qualification – BE/BTech, ME/MTech in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Telecommunication
- Domain – Embedded product development
- Should have hands on experience in design and development of following –
- Analog interfacing
- Digital interfacing
- Microcontroller based design
- Digital peripheral interfacing (e.g. memory ICs, external ADC, DAC etc.)
- Communication ICs interfacing related to RS485, RS232, I2C, SPI, CAN
- Expertise in resolving EMI / EMC related issues
- SMPS design (low power)
- High speed design
- Schematic entry and PCB layout
- Awareness about DFMEA, productionizing experience, costing, supplier interaction
- Exposure to following will be an added advantage
- Power electronics
- GPRS communication
Should be very well conversant with tools like
- Schematic editor
- PCB layout software
- Circuit simulation
- Should know how to handle following instruments –
- DSO
- Logic analyzer
- EMI/EMC related test equipment
- Should be able to debug and pin-point the issues related to hardware-software co-design
