Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Electronics Hardware Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation products, with expertise in EMI/EMC, product certification (SIL, Electrical Safety), and both analog and digital circuit design. This role involves developing and testing electronic hardware components for advanced automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Design and develop electronic hardware for industrial automation products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- EMI/EMC Compliance: Conduct EMI/EMC testing and troubleshooting to ensure product compliance with relevant standards.
- Product Certification: Manage and coordinate product certification processes, including SIL and electrical safety certifications.
- Analog and Digital Design: Develop and test analog and digital circuits, including SMPS, HART, 4-20mA, RS485, Ethernet, and USB interfaces.
- Board Bring-Up and Debugging: Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, and testing to validate hardware designs.
- BOM Preparation: Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for hardware projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, test results, and certification records.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve product performance and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in electronics hardware development, specifically in industrial automation.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in EMI/EMC testing and compliance.
- Experience with product certification processes, including SIL and electrical safety.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Familiarity with SMPS, HART, 4-20mA, RS485, Ethernet, and USB interfaces.
- Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and testing.
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout software.
