Key Responsibilities

• Gathering and interpreting technical information from multiple sources
• Producing and editing technical content for new products
• Maintaining and updating a body of existing product technical content
• Creating and maintaining HTML files for help systems and on-line documentation

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred electrical or electronics) with 4 years of experience.

Qualifications – Technical

• Must have experience with CMS, preferably MadCap Flare
• Must have experience with XML/DITA methodology, preferably Arbortext Editor or any XML editing tools
• Must have experience with Adobe tools, preferably Indesign and Illustrator

Soft Skills

• Must have a team-player mindset
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum
• Able to use interpersonal skills, passion, and team-player mindset to build rapport with stakeholders and SMEs
• Must possess a positive attitude and motivation
• Must be able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, with excellent organization and time-management skills Technical Communication Skills:
• Strong command of grammar and punctuation; capable of creating concise, clear written instructions
• Inclined to read and follow processes, standards, and style guides for technical publications and training
• Strong attention to detail
• Must possess sense of inquiry to ask questions and perform further research, ultimately understanding the audience, what the audience needs to accomplish, and how an information product will help ensure their success—that is, performing tasks in a safe, efficient, and effective manner
