Your Key Responsibilities
- Development of electric axle drive systems for electric vehicles
- Supporting of feasibility studies of customer requirements together with the customers and internal departments of hardware, software, mechanics and testing
- Analysis of customer requirements in consideration of functionality, quality and durability, cost and functional safety (ISO 26262)
- Derive customer requirements into technical system requirements using the methods of requirement engineering
- Conduct reviews of system requirements together with our internal departments
- Support creation of a system architecture and FMEA, as well as specification of internal and external system interfaces
- Responsibility for the implementation of system-features and functionality, from the definition of the system requirements and architecture to simulation, operation and testing
- Support the analysis of test results together with departments for testing, hardware, software, mechanics and functional safety
- Analysis of system test results and system integration on the test bench and inside the vehicle
Your Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering or an equivalent.
- Good knowledge of axle drive concepts for hybrid and electric vehicles.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the fields of System Design or System Architecture and Requirements Engineering
- Independent and goal-oriented working method, ability to structure and prioritize tasks
- Analytical mindset and strong communication skills
- Fluent in English. German language skills is an added advantage
