In your new role, you will:
- Actively working towards achieving the Design Win Targets of PL58 (Microcontrollers) & other Automotive products in India.
- Technical support to direct OEMs/Tier-1s, distribution customers and design-houses to enable rapid adoption of Infineon products.
- Working closely with Sales/OBD/Marketing, Distribution, Application Engineers in other regions to collaborate and achieve the targets.
- Performing technical analysis of circuits, software to resolve issues or meet customers’ criteria or benchmarking against competitor’s products.
- Working on proof of concepts/demonstrators/reference solutions to support customers & build system knowledge.
- Capturing & feeding the regional requirements, product issues/fixes & improvement ideas to Headquarters through the AP Regional Centre.
- Preparing the training material & conducting technical trainings, workshops and seminars in India.
- Preparing presentations, technical documents, application notes, SAE papers, patent ideas, etc.
- Troubleshooting of FAR issues on application level and proposing effective solutions or workarounds.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- More than 5 years of application engineering or embedded hardware and software experience, preferably in Automotive domain.
- Good exposure to 32-bit Microcontrollers, Peripherals (ADC/DAC, Timers, CAN, LIN, Flexray, UART, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc.) Tools and Ecosystem.
- Hands-on with embedded C/C++, Low Level Drivers, Middleware, Application Software, different IDEs, Compilers and Debuggers.
- Working experience with Infineon Traveo/Traveo-II/AURIX/ARM Cortex-M Microcontrollers & HMI/Cluster applications would be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Motor Control, Lighting, Power Conversion, Safety and Security applications would be a plus.
- Should be exposed to and passionate for customer facing role and the technical customer support (from pre-sales to post sales) activities.
Should be able to work with Multimeter, Power Supplies, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Protocol Analyzers, etc. for testing & debugging.
