The design Engineer is responsible for the design & development of the industrial ball valves soft seated & metal ball valves product line. In this position, you will design and develop a new ball valve product line to support our global growth targets.
- Design engineer is responsible for activities like
- Conceptualise innovative ideas, experiment proof of concept design, prototype build & test.
- Mechanical engineering design and calculations,
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance, Tolerance Stack Up Analysis
- Manufacturing drawing creation, BOM, Instruction manual and testing procedure
- Co-ordinating with supplier and production for sample development.
- Prepare technical files for certifications like PED, API, SIL etc.
- Interact with Product Manager for better understanding of customer`s requirement.
- Closely work with global product centres to apply best engineering practices.
- Run DFMEA, DFM, DFA and contribute to design reviews.
- Maintains engineering documentation in support of product design, company standards, and regulatory requirements through the appropriate Product Data Management systems.
