Technology To Save Water And Boost Immunity

The most precious thing on Earth is water. To avoid wastage and save water should be the primary responsibilities of every individual on Earth. With depleting accessibility
of freshwater, water conservation and saving initiatives are increasing to save water for future generations. Any given reverse osmosis (RO) water purifier discards two to three glasses of water to extract one glass of purified drinking water. But now we can save
every single drop of water with aqua reverse technology (ART).

The technology provides a hydrogen-rich, balanced alkaline water that boosts immunity and helps fight illnesses. It balances the alkaline level in water and infuses it with hydrogen ions. The water eliminates mucus buildup on colon walls, thus improving the body’s ability to absorb important nutrients and restore pH balance by reducing acidity levels. This makes us feel more energetic and allows water to penetrate our cells more effectively. This also helps neutralise free radicals that cause cellular and DNA damage.

Aqua Reverse and Actiliv technologies are revolutionising the water industry in the country by making innovative and self-sustaining machines to provide water in its purest form. Water purifier brand iLiv has launched its products with ozone generator, which is highly effective in disinfecting fruits and vegetables. It washes them thoroughly to get
rid of chemicals so we can consume hundred per cent safe fruits and vegetables.

Sandeep Taneja, founder and chief executive officer, iLiv Water Purifiers, says, “The water purifier market right now is growing by twenty per cent every year. In 2018, the market was around 55 billion. By ₹ 2025, it is expected to grow to ₹ 250 billion. Right now, the unorganised sector is also quite big when it comes to market share, at 60 to 65 per cent.”

The product range is available in RO model at the price of ₹ 37,500, and ultrafiltration model at the price of ₹ 34,500, all-inclusive retail prices for different variants. The products are already commercially available in New Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. These are also available through distribution channel sales all over India and will soon be available online.

The under-the-counter (UTC) and wall-mount range of water purifiers come with the revolutionary Aqua Reverse and Actiliv technologies that give extremely healthy and safe water without wasting a drop. These have nine-stage filtration, detoxifier for fruits and vegetables, interactive LED display, intelligent membrane flushing, cold water, two-in-one pre-filter cartridge, eight-litre water tank, protected storage (with UV lamp), instant hot water, temperature and TDS display.

On comparatively high cost of the water purifier products, Taneja says, “Cost has gone up slightly because we have combined multiple features into a single machine. For example, if you need hot water, you have to opt between one or two machines. And if you need the detoxifier, you have to purchase it separately for ₹ 6000 to ₹ 6500. Besides, there are other features also present in these water purifiers range.”
