Infineon Technologies AG has launched the CYW20822-P4TAI040, it’s newest Bluetooth module that advances the limits of wireless connectivity in IoT and consumer electronics. This module is cost-effective in its category, providing integration, performance with Bluetooth Low Energy Long Range (LE-LR) support, and reliability for various applications. The Bluetooth module is engineered to accommodate the full spectrum of Bluetooth LE-LR use cases, including industrial IoT applications, smart home devices, asset tracking, beacons, sensors, and medical equipment.
A recent ABI Research report indicates that future use cases will require improvements in nearly all performance metrics, covering sensing, robotics, beacons, smart home, and asset tracking in industrial IoT applications. In response, the Bluetooth module offers connectivity and performance, empowering customers to develop products in the IoT and consumer electronics sectors.
The company claims expertise in delivering certified Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE modules, ensuring that its regulatory testing (FCC, ISED, MIC, CE) and certification process with the Bluetooth SIG is precise and thorough. The company’s pre-certified modules are optimized for cost, size, power, and range, making them ideal for various applications.
