Pasternack, part of Infinite Electronics and a provider of RF, microwave and millimetre-wave products, has introduced new waveguide calibration kits. These kits are designed for WR-90, WR-75, WR-62, WR-34, WR-28, and WR-22, featuring components like waveguide-to-coax adapters, matched waveguide terminations, and various precision waveguide sections.

To cater to diverse customer needs, the company claims to offer optional waveguide straight sections for separate purchase. Customers can choose between durable aluminium and strong brass constructions depending on the waveguide size, ensuring longevity and high performance.

The company offers a range of waveguide calibration kits, including the PEWCK1003 (WR-42), PEWCK1002 (WR-62), PEWCK1001 (WR-75), and PEWCK1000 (WR-90). The PEWCK1003 covers a frequency range of 17.6 to 26.7 GHz, while the PEWCK1002 operates from 11.9 to 18 GHz. The PEWCK1001 is designed for 9.84 to 15 GHz, and the PEWCK1000 spans 8.2 to 12.5 GHz. All these kits are made of copper with protective paint, making them ideal for test and measurement, research, and development applications. Each kit includes two waveguide-to-coax adapters, one waveguide-matched termination, two waveguide short plates, and precision waveguide sections of 1/4λ, 1/8λ, and 3/8λ. They also come with a packing case made of aluminium alloy and a set of screws for assembly.

“Our aim has always been to enhance user experience, and with this launch, we bring professionals closer to achieving seamless operations,” said Product Line Manager Kevin Hietpas. “With these waveguide calibration kits and extensions, we continue our legacy of delivering unparalleled RF and microwave solutions.”
