Advanced Cellular IoT Module With Enhanced Connectivity

Cavli Wireless has introduced the CQS290, an essential product in their Cavli C-Series. This module is a Cellular Android Module designed for diverse applications. As a Long-Term Evolution Category 4 (LTE Cat 4) module, it provides high data rates, reaching up to 150 Megabits per second (Mbit/s) for downloads and 50 Mbit/s for uploads, along with a 2G fallback option. The CQS290 is powered by a Cortex A53 quad-core Central Processing Unit (CPU) and an Adreno 702 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), ensuring high-quality graphics and efficient power usage.

The module comes in two variants tailored for different regional requirements. It includes the Qualcomm Location Suite Generation 9VT engine, which enhances Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) performance. This engine supports various satellite systems, including the Global Positioning System (GPS) and GLONASS. The CQS290 is versatile and suitable for multiple applications such as telematics and point-of-sale terminals, and its functionality can be further extended with an optional integrated SIM (eSIM).

The CQS290’s functionalities are further augmented by the Hubble Stack Intelligence, enabling remote diagnosis, monitoring, and debugging through Hubble Lens, a Cavli Hubble IoT platform feature. This innovation eliminates the need for physical intervention, facilitating IoT scalability. Additionally, Cavli’s booth featured the C-Series Cellular IoT modules, known for their LPWAN and Wideband connectivity. These modules are recognized for their adaptability in footprint, power consumption, and network capabilities, which are suitable for various solution implementations.
