ADLINK Technology Inc. , a global leader in edge computing, has introduced two new additions to its 3.5” single board computer (SBC) portfolio—SBC35-MTL and SBC35-ASL—designed to tackle diverse edge computing workloads, from AI-powered vision tasks to industrial-grade control applications.

It is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 1) featuring integrated Intel AI Boost (NPU) for accelerated inferencing at the edge. Optimized for AI-driven applications, it supports up to 96GB DDR5 memory, four simultaneous 4K displays, and dual 2.5GbE LAN ports. Designed for vision-centric tasks such as autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), AI inspection systems, and smart retail deployments, the board also offers MIPI-CSI support for camera integration and high-speed I/O including USB 3.2.

The key features are:

  • Wide temperature support: -40°C to 85°C
  • Fanless design for silent, reliable operation
  • Ideal for EV chargers, transportation, kiosks, and factory automation
  • Extensive legacy I/O: 4x COM, 8x DI/DO, 2x 1GbE LAN
  • Built for long-term durability and stable performance

Rugged Reliability in the Harshest Conditions

Targeting thermally demanding environments, the SBC35-ASL features Intel Atom x7835RE/x7433RE processors. Both models are compatible with SBC-FM Adaptive Function Module platform, allowing developers to customize I/O via FPC cable using signals like PCIe, USB, and LPC/eSPI. A selection of ready-made modules is available, and custom development is simplified through the company’s design guide, enabling faster time-to-market and tailored system development.

“With these new SBCs, the company empowers developers with scalable performance and industrial-grade reliability,” said Julie Huang, Product Manager at ADLINK. These launches reinforce its commitment to delivering flexible, robust, and compact edge platforms—whether for AI-powered vision systems or rugged embedded deployments across global industries.
