Two platforms help companies build industrial screens, machines, vending systems, vision devices, and connected products with local computing.

SECO has introduced two compact industrial computing platforms based on Qualcomm’s Dragonwing IQ-2390 processor. The range includes the Compact Vision 5 Dragonwing IQ-2390, a 5-inch industrial HMI, and the SBC-Dragonwing-IQ-2390, a single-board computer for custom embedded products. Early access registration is open for both.
The two platforms are aimed at OEMs developing or upgrading products such as industrial control systems, vending machines, building automation equipment, industrial vision systems, and other connected embedded devices. They provide CPU processing, on-device AI, graphics, vision processing, connectivity, and real-time control in compact designs.
The Compact Vision 5 Dragonwing IQ-2390 is designed for machine operators and industrial control applications. It has a 5-inch touchscreen with IP65 protection on the front, along with 2 GB or 4 GB RAM and 16 GB eMMC storage. Connectivity includes RS232, RS485, CAN, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It supports a 9V to 24V DC power input.
The SBC-Dragonwing-IQ-2390 is intended for OEMs that want to build their own embedded systems around the processor. It provides industrial serial interfaces, CAN, Gigabit Ethernet, USB-C, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. An expansion interface adds support for camera, audio, Ethernet, USB, and I2C/I3C connections.
The Dragonwing IQ-2390 combines CPU processing, AI acceleration, vision processing, real-time control, and industrial networking. It includes an image signal processor, AI engine, RISC-V microcontroller, dual Gigabit Ethernet with TSN, and an audio DSP. By combining these functions on one platform, OEMs can reduce the number of external components required in some designs.
The processor platform is intended for compact HMIs, smart controllers, vending machines, handheld medical devices, access-control systems, and vision-enabled equipment.
Both products run Clea OS 2.0 and are planned to support Clea OS 3.0. The operating system provides software updates and device management throughout the product lifecycle. SECO also provides board support packages and development resources for moving designs from evaluation to production.
