A modular cybersecurity test platform combines high-density traffic generation, encrypted traffic validation, and scalable performance to help data centres, service providers, and network equipment developers verify next-generation AI and enterprise networks.

Keysight Technologies has introduced the APS-ONE-400, a modular 4x100GE network cybersecurity test platform designed to validate high-speed enterprise, service provider, and hyperscale data centre networks. The latest addition to the company’s APS-100/400GE portfolio combines Layer 4-7 traffic generation, encrypted traffic testing, and cybersecurity validation in a compact 1RU form factor, helping organisations reduce lab space while supporting increasingly demanding network validation requirements.
The APS-ONE-400 is built to address the rapid growth of AI-driven network traffic, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and large “Elephant Flow” data transfers generated by AI training and inference workloads. Instead of relying on multiple dedicated test appliances, engineers can use a single modular platform to emulate realistic production traffic and evaluate network resilience, security performance, and application behaviour before deployment.
The key features are:
- Supports 4×100GE interfaces in a compact 1RU platform.
- Fanout support for 100GE, 25GE, and 10GE Ethernet testing.
- Hardware-accelerated post-quantum TLS encryption traffic validation.
- Compatible with APS-M8400, APS-M1010, and APS-ONE-100 platforms.
- Modular pay-as-you-grow architecture for expandable test capacity.
Designed for network equipment manufacturers, cloud providers, telecom operators, and enterprise data centres, the platform generates hyperscale Layer 4-7 application traffic alongside PQC-encrypted TLS sessions and advanced cyberattack simulations. It supports validation of firewalls, routers, switches, security gateways, application delivery controllers, and Zero Trust infrastructure operating under modern AI-scale network conditions.
The APS-ONE-400 can operate as a standalone appliance or integrate with existing APS-M8400, APS-M1010, and APS-ONE-100 platforms, allowing organisations to expand existing test environments without replacing deployed infrastructure. Its modular architecture enables a pay-as-you-grow approach, allowing users to increase testing capacity as network requirements evolve.
When deployed with Keysight’s management and compute platforms, the solution can scale into hyperscale testbeds capable of emulating large cloud and carrier environments. The platform also supports multiple Ethernet interface speeds through fanout capabilities, enabling engineers to validate mixed-speed network deployments commonly found in enterprise and cloud infrastructures.
By combining application traffic generation, encrypted communication testing, and cybersecurity validation within a compact platform, the APS-ONE-400 helps reduce laboratory complexity while enabling realistic testing of AI-era network workloads. The solution is intended to accelerate product qualification, infrastructure validation, and security verification for organisations deploying next-generation high-performance networking equipment.
