Emerson has introduced the Rosemount 105P Standard Liquid Panel Systems, configurable, pre-engineered liquid analysis panels designed to simplify water-quality measurement and reduce installation complexity. The systems combine Rosemount transmitters, sensors, cables, flow cells, and flow-control components into a ready-to-install architecture.
Liquid analysis projects are often assembled from individual components or engineered separately for each site. This can increase ordering steps, on-site assembly, engineering effort, and installation variability. The Rosemount 105P addresses these challenges by standardising common measurement requirements while retaining configuration flexibility.
The panel systems support measurements including pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), dissolved oxygen, chlorine, fluoride, and ammonia, depending on the selected configuration. Emerson says each panel can support up to two sensors, while factory integration brings sensing, transmission, flow control, and mounting into a single system.
By providing a pre-engineered architecture, the system is intended to simplify specification, ordering, assembly, and commissioning. Emerson says the Rosemount 105P can reduce engineering and assembly time by up to 90% compared with comparable field-built panel deployments. The company notes that this figure is based on internal estimates and can vary according to application, configuration, and site conditions.
Factory assembly, testing, and documentation are also intended to provide greater consistency than field-built systems. Reduced fabrication and troubleshooting requirements can help simplify deployment across multiple locations, particularly where similar water-quality monitoring arrangements are required.
The system is aimed at industrial and municipal water applications, where reliable measurement of water chemistry is important for process control, compliance, and operational management. Its configurable architecture also allows organisations to replicate established panel configurations across sites.
