The DC/DC converters help power electronic systems, with wide input voltage support, protection features, and remote control.

RECOM has added two isolated DC/DC converter series, the RP50-AW and RP100-FW, with up to 50W and 100W output power, respectively. Both series support 4:1 input voltage ranges, isolation, protection features, and wide operating temperature ranges for industrial, transportation, communication, and other electronic systems.
The RP50-AW provides up to 50W output power in a 1 x 1-inch package. It is available with 9-36VDC or 18-75VDC input ranges and offers efficiency of up to 93%. The converters provide 2.25kVDC isolation and are available in single- and dual-output versions. They can operate from -40°C to +105°C. An optional heatsink version is available for applications that require additional thermal management.
The RP100-FW is designed for applications requiring up to 100W output power. It supports the same 9-36VDC and 18-75VDC input ranges and provides efficiency of up to 94%. The series operates from -40°C to +110°C and can be used at altitudes of up to 5000m.
Without a heatsink, the RP100-FW measures 50.8 x 25.4 x 10.7mm. A heatsink version measures 50.8 x 26.5 x 32.2mm and is intended for applications with higher thermal requirements.
Both converter families include overvoltage, overload, overtemperature, and continuous short-circuit protection. Remote ON/OFF control is supported with positive or negative logic. Depending on the model, the output voltage can also be adjusted across a specified range.
The RP50-AW and RP100-FW are designed for use in industrial control systems, test and measurement equipment, datacom and telecom infrastructure, and transportation electronics. The series also meets current RoHS and REACH requirements and includes features for EMC performance.
