Netsol’s STT-MRAM is a fast, non-volatile memory that combines the speed of SRAM with the data retention of Flash, without needing batteries. It offers high endurance, fast write speeds, and built-in power-fail protection—making it ideal for systems that require both performance and data reliability.

Designed for frequent data operations, STT-MRAM supports unlimited read cycles and can handle up to 10¹⁴ write cycles. This makes it highly durable for use in smart meters, PLCs, HMIs, gaming devices, and banking systems—where secure, consistent data handling is critical.

The memory is available in multiple densities and interfaces, ranging from 1Mb to 64Mb, with both Serial (SPI) and Parallel options. It supports 1.8V and 3.3V power supplies and is compatible with standard industry packages, including 8WSON, 8SOP, 16SOP, and 24FBGA.

Key technical features include:

  • Density: 1Mb, 2Mb, 4Mb, 8Mb, 16Mb, 32Mb, 64Mb
  • Interface: Single, Dual, Quad SPI with SDR and DDR
  • Read endurance: Unlimited
  • Write endurance: 10¹⁴ cycles
  • Data retention: 20 years @ 85°C
  • No external ECC needed

Built on Samsung Foundry technology, STT-MRAM ensures industrial-grade reliability and long-term availability. It is a strong candidate to replace Flash, FeRAM, or nvSRAM in embedded designs—especially where fast and frequent data access is essential.

Typical applications include code storage, data logging, backup memory, and working memory in industrial systems. With its blend of speed, endurance, and non-volatility, STT-MRAM delivers dependable memory performance without compromise.
