The free tools allow developers to optimize code, reduce memory usage, improve execution speed, and add machine learning capabilities to resource-limited devices. Earlier, the MPLAB XC Pro Compilers were available through paid license options. The company has also made the MPLAB Machine Learning Development Suite Model Builder available at no cost.
