RECOM has launched a cost-efficient 90W AC/DC supply. The power supply is a part of RACM90-K AC/DC series which is suitable for cost-sensitive applications. The power supply can operate over a wide range of input voltages ranging from 85-264Vac input range. The power supply can provide a tightly regulated single output including 12V, 15V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC. The module is available in the industry-standard 2” x 4” format or with a sturdy metallic enclosure. The power supply is suitable for use in demanding applications such as medical, industrial and household applications.
According to the company, the RACM90-K series is one of the most versatile on the market as it can be used in a wide variety of applications. The power supply module comes with multiple safety certifications including 2 x MOPP/250Vac to IEC/EN/ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1, ‘B’ and ‘BF’ compliant with dual input fusing for medical applications, as well as to standards for reinforced isolation for industrial, test and measurement, ITE and household use, all to 4000m altitude.

The 90 W power supply offers tightly regulated single outputs which make it safer to use in areas with voltage fluctuations. Moreover, the power supply can be fitted with the optional sturdy metallic enclosure making it safer for harsh working environments. The power supply can operate at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +90°C. The parts are classified as Limited Power Source (LPS) and are suitable for installation in surge Class 3 and overvoltage category OVC III environments.
