Wide Range of Metal Line Switches For Applications In Harsh Conditions

SCHURTER, a manufacturer of electric and electronic components has extended its MSM Metal Line series with the addition of 24mm mounting diameter. The range of new switches provides a multitude of options for switching voltages from 30 VDC to 250 VAC and switching currents from 0.1 A to 10 A.

The MSM series is quite rugged. It has an IP67 seal protection rating and impact resistance rating IK07, making it ideal for use in applications exposed to harsh environmental conditions including indoor and outdoor equipment, industrial, vending and ticketing, POS terminals, public transport, pro audio, food service and processing, laboratory and medical equipment. The mechanical action and high-grade materials offer excellent tactile feedback.

The Metal Line switches are now available in standard 16, 19, 22, 24, 27, & 30 mm diameters over a range of three different technologies: mechanical, capacitive and piezo. With this wide, customizable range, the perfect switch for every application is made possible.
