Nexperia’s DFN0603 is the first 20V and 30V MOSFET in the DFN package. The MOSFET requires 13% lesser space than the next smallest package available in the market and offers great ESD performance. The series of MOSFET offers up to 74% lower RDS(on) than other competing products, thus, achieving higher efficiency and lower heat dissipation. The DFN0603 is suitable for use in space-constrained operations such as smart watches, wireless earphones, etc.
The newer smart wearables, hearables and other personal portable devices are getting smaller, hence the need for smaller components. To meet the growing demand for smaller components, Nexperia has released the DFN0603 MOSFETs. It comes in a compact packaging measuring only 0.63 x 0.33 x 0.25 mm and uses 13% lesser space than the next smallest MOSFET available for similar voltage ratings, furthermore the component offers great ESD protection.
According to the company, the size reduction has been achieved without compromising the performance of the device, moreover, the RDS(on) of these devices has been reduced by 74%, helping to improve efficiency and thereby enabling wearable equipment designers to achieve even greater power density.
