This platform not only facilitates quicker product launches by reducing qualification and build times but also supports the creation of low-power, compact designs with prolonged lifecycles, ideal for use in medical, industrial, and automotive sectors.

AMD has announced the launch of AMD Embedded+, a new integrated computing solution that combines AMD Ryzen Embedded processors with Versal adaptive SoCs on a single board. This platform aims to provide scalable and energy-efficient solutions to accelerate time-to-market for original design manufacturer (ODM) partners. The Embedded+ platform, validated by AMD, helps ODM customers reduce qualification and build times, enabling faster product launches without additional hardware and R&D investments. It supports the development of designs with low power consumption, small form factors, and extended lifecycles, making it suitable for medical, industrial, and automotive applications.

Embedded+ architecture uniquely combines AMD x86 compute with integrated graphics and programmable hardware for AI inferencing and sensor fusion applications. It offers low latency processing and high performance-per-watt inferencing, integrating adaptive computing in real-time with flexible I/O, AI Engines for inferencing, and AMD Radeon graphics. The key features include:
