Pudu Robotics has unveiled the PUDU D7, its next-generation semi-humanoid robot, marking the platform’s first offline public demonstration. Designed for collaborative human-robot interaction, the launch expands the company’s embodied AI portfolio while highlighting capabilities that extend beyond traditional commercial service robotics.

The D7 is intended to support applications where mobility, interaction and coordination are required across dynamic environments. By combining semi-humanoid capabilities with autonomous navigation, the robot is designed to assist in service, inspection and guided interaction tasks, reflecting the growing shift towards embodied AI systems that can operate alongside people in real-world settings.

During live demonstrations, the D7 interacted with visitors by capturing photographs from the robot’s perspective and autonomously guiding the company’s **PUDU D5** quadruped robot through crowded exhibition spaces while avoiding pedestrians. The demonstration showcased multi-robot collaboration, where different robotic form factors work together to execute coordinated tasks without manual intervention.

The launch complements Pudu Robotics’ broader portfolio spanning service delivery, industrial logistics and commercial cleaning. Alongside the D7, the company demonstrated the D5 quadruped robot, capable of autonomous navigation across challenging terrain including gravel, slopes, stairs and uneven surfaces. Other platforms on display included the BellaBot service robot, the PUDU T300 industrial delivery robot, and the MT1 Max and CC1 Pro commercial cleaning robots, illustrating a unified robotics ecosystem built around multiple deployment scenarios.

The D7 is based on Pudu Robotic’s “One Brain, Multiple Embodiments” architecture, which enables a common AI framework to support specialised, semi-humanoid and humanoid robotic platforms.
