A small computer board for building projects, running apps, connecting devices, and working with Linux and Android.

ArmSoM has introduced the Sige6, a credit-card-sized single-board computer (SBC) based on the Allwinner A733 octa-core SoC. It is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 128GB of soldered eMMC storage. The board also supports NVMe storage, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI, camera connectivity, and a 40-pin GPIO header.
The Sige6 is designed for developers working on Linux- and Android-based devices that need processing, storage, networking, display, and expansion interfaces on one board. ArmSoM lists support for Debian Linux and Android 13, while Armbian provides Debian- and Ubuntu-based support.
The Allwinner A733 has two Cortex-A76 cores running at up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 1.8GHz. It also includes a RISC-V core for real-time tasks and a 3-TOPS NPU for AI workloads. The processor supports up to 8K video decoding and 4K video encoding.
Memory options range from 2GB to 16GB LPDDR5. Storage options include 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of soldered eMMC. A microSD card slot is also available. The M.2 M-key slot supports PCIe 3.0 x2 and can be used with an NVMe SSD or an AI accelerator.
For connectivity, the board has Gigabit Ethernet, with optional PoE, along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. It provides HDMI 2.0 output for displays up to 4K at 60Hz and a MIPI CSI interface for a camera.
The Sige6 has one USB 3.1 port, one USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C port for OTG and power. It also includes a 3.5mm audio jack and a 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible header for connecting hardware.
The Sige6 is similar to other Allwinner A733-based SBCs such as the Orange Pi 4 Pro and Radxa Cubie A7A. Unlike boards that use removable eMMC or UFS modules, the Sige6 uses soldered eMMC storage.
