This meter allows precise measurement of resistance (R), capacitance (C), inductance (L), impedance (Z), quality factor (Q), dissipation factor (D), and related parameters. It supports series and parallel equivalent circuits and offers both auto and manual ranging, helping users work efficiently with a wide range of components.

Key features include a large backlit LCD display for easy reading, multiple test voltage levels (0.1 V, 0.3 V, 1.0 V), and signal output options at 30 Ω and 100 Ω. Users can choose from three measurement speeds—Slow, Medium, Fast—depending on the testing need. The meter also provides comparator functions and four-bin output, making quality checks straightforward in production environments.

The BR 5812 supports measuring frequencies from 100 Hz to 100 kHz and offers an RS-232 interface for data logging and connectivity.
