Amphenol RF has expanded its pre configured cable assembly portfolio with MCX cable assemblies designed for wireless communication modules. The assemblies feature MCX straight and right angle plug configurations on flexible RG 174 cable, paired with rugged IP67 bulkhead connectors including SMA, TNC, RP TNC and N Type straight jacks. This between series design enables secure connections from MCX equipped boards to threaded panel mounted interfaces, supporting short distance and low frequency RF applications up to 3 GHz.
The assemblies are intended for use in portable devices, GPS, Wi Fi systems and vehicle based designs across agriculture, construction, earth moving, mining and other heavy industrial applications. External connectors are sealed to protect against temporary ingress of water and fluids, helping prevent system failure caused by environmental exposure or tampering.
