New internal SSDs support data access and storage for gaming, AI applications, content creation, and PC workloads.

SanDisk has launched the SANDISK Optimus GX PRO 8100 NVMe SSD and SANDISK Optimus GX 7100 NVMe SSD in India for gaming, content creation, artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and other workloads that require fast local storage.
The SANDISK Optimus GX PRO 8100 NVMe SSD is designed for gamers, developers, content creators, and professionals using AI PCs, workstations, and high-end PCs. They can use the SSD to store and access large datasets, AI workloads, games, applications, and content files, while moving large files and data between storage and the system at high speeds.
The SSD uses a PCIe 5.0 interface and delivers sequential read speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s. This can help users load applications, access large files, and transfer data quickly during demanding workloads.
It is available in capacities of up to 8TB. The 8TB version offers up to 4,800 terabytes written (TBW), making it suitable for workloads involving frequent data writes. It is also available with an anodised aluminium heatsink to help manage heat during sustained workloads.
The 1TB version without a heatsink is available on Amazon India for ₹34,999.
The SANDISK Optimus GX 7100 NVMe SSD is designed for gamers, content creators, and users of laptops and handheld gaming devices. They can use it to store games, applications, videos, project files, and other large files while maintaining fast data access during gaming and creative work.
The SSD uses a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and provides sequential read speeds of up to 7,250 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 6,900 MB/s on the 1TB and 2TB models. It also includes nCache 4.0 technology and is designed to support AAA games and demanding applications.
The SSD is available in capacities from 500GB to 4TB, allowing users to choose storage based on the amount of games, applications, and content they need to keep locally.
