Create the Future Design Contest 2022

About the Challenge

Sponsored by Mouser Electronics and co-sponsored by Intel and Analog Devices, Inc. this challenge is for engineers and innovators to design the next great thing. 

The seven entry categories are : Aerospace and Defense, Automotive/Transportation, Consumer Product Design, Electronics/Sensors/IoT, Manufacturing/Automation/Robotics, Medical, and Sustainable Technologies/Future Energy.

Producing more than 15,000 design ideas, this contest is looking for an innovative product that benefits society and economy. Apart from the recognition, the grand prize winner receives a cash prize of $25,000.

Former innovations include an economical rapid screening device to prevent food-borne illness and a wheelchair propulsion system designed to increase the user’s mobility while decreasing upper body repetitive strain injuries.

Last Date of Submitting Application: 1st July, 2022

Rewards

First Grand Prize is $25,000 USD.

Judges

24 judges from the editorial board of readers of the SAE Media Group are being recruited. The panel is also open to one representative from each Primary Sponsor.
