About the Challenge
Nordic Semiconductors, is looking to combat climate change and calls upon the Hackster community to create innovative solutions. These solutions should be based on the Nordic Thingy:53 multi-protocol prototyping platform.
The company has improved its carbon footprint, and since 2020 is committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Few of the examples include smart watering of plants/garden using temperature/humidity/light sensors, gas detection in your fridge to detect vegetables going bad and using light sensors to automate your lights

Rewards
First Prize Winner : Nordic surprise hardware and choice between a $2000 virtual gift card or a trip to Electronica (flight + hotel + exhibition pass + tour of Nordic booth)
Second Place : Nordic surprise hardware + $500 virtual gift card
Third Place : Nordic surprise hardware + $500 virtual gift card
10 Runners Up will receive surprise hardware and Nordic swags: $1000
