QLX300+

Qualinx unveils the QLX300+, a game-changing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) sensor that redefines energy efficiency. Discover the tiniest and most power-saving GNSS solution, offering up to ten times less energy consumption than its peers.

The QLX300+ launched by Qualinx is the tiniest and most energy-efficient Global navigation satellite system (GNSS) sensor globally, using up to one-tenth the energy of other existing devices. The sensor can simultaneously receive signals from navigation satellites like GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou. This energy-efficient product extends battery life using Zinc-air or single-cell batteries.

Its Baseband Engine with 100+ reconfigurable channels achieves high sensitivity and fast time-to-first fix (TTFF). The integrated Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) matching network eliminates the requirement for external components, leading to the lowest possible reduction in the Bill of Materials (BOM) cost. In deep tech, advancements are witnessed with a 22nm CMOS process encompassing over 10 million transistors. The industry’s smallest die size accompanies this, showcasing cutting-edge innovations.

The key features include:

Ultra-Low Power Consumption: It employs Qualinx DRF tech for low power, and the navigation engine performs with minimal consumption. It surpasses competitors by consuming 10X less power and features the industry’s minimum off-leakage current.

Lowest BOM Cost: Built-in LNA matching supports various crystal oscillators for cost savings. It operates on a single-cell battery, boosting flexibility and cost efficiency.

Smallest Form Factor: It will arrive in an industry-standard WLCSP24 package, providing a single-chip solution in an ultra-compact form factor.

Distinguished by its high-end nature, this product offers a power-efficient GNSS solution coupled with an impressive level of sensitivity. It presents an optimal standalone GNSS solution applicable across diverse use cases. This solution shines, from wearables to asset, fleet, and livestock tracking, where compact size, ultra-low power, and cost-efficiency are imperative.

With its amalgamation of superior performance, it becomes an excellent selection for connectivity and tracking, catering to applications like location-based services, smartwatches, healthcare monitoring, personal navigation devices, asset trackers, logistics, cameras, and augmented/virtual reality.
