Open Hardware Multimeter Concept

-

This video shows a very interesting concept of how you can build an open hardware multimeter, which lets you get considerable accuracy at a cost that is somewhat lower than existing commercial multimeters.

What’s special?

“The meter is going to have all the functions of a normal meter, volts, amps, etc, plus an ESR meter, data logging, real time graphing, TFT colour screen, and user customisation ui. I expect the price range to be between $100 and $200.Also its going to use a rechargeable battery and is going to have USB and a corresponding software to do pc data logging and graphing,” says House 91320 at EEVblog.
