The ii-P7 has introduced an array of enhancements to boost productivity, featuring a maintenance-free printhead with active closed-loop squeegee pressure control and no need for squeegee calibration. This platform is designed to handle stencil sizes from 23 to 29 inches directly, eliminating the need for adapters and thus streamlining setup and turnover times in environments with varied assembly demands.

The ii-P7 eclipses the Europlacer’s flagship EP710 printer it replaces, cutting print cycle times by 25% in standard mode and offering an option for specialized motor technology that can more than halve this time.

Operators stand to gain from the printer’s user-centric upgrades as well. These include ergonomically improved cover support and a large 22-inch touchscreen interface. Running on the advanced Europlacer OS (iiPS), the ii-P7 streamlines processes with intuitive step-and-repeat functions for tasks like inspection and label placement, enhanced fiducial recognition for low-contrast points, and a Swiffer commissioning sequence, all of which come together to refine the screen printing operation significantly.

The ii-P7 improves the inner screen cleaning mechanism, a pivotal step for ensuring print quality and procedural accuracy. It features enhanced paper management and fluid dispensation, supported by an external solvent tank that uses standard industry bottles, which cuts out the laborious task of transferring fluids. Additionally, there’s an optional cleaning system that accomplishes a wet-dry-vacuum cycle in a single pass, trimming the cleaning time by a third. The ii-P7 not only refines the cleaning cycle but also introduces a quick-change cassette system for paper rolls, significantly reducing downtime by allowing rapid replacements.

The printhead of the ii-P7 has been completely redesigned to accommodate the new EuroGlide premium squeegee blades, which are contoured for optimal paste containment and facilitate effortless blade replacement and setup.

Europlacer has consistently placed a high value on integrating factory-wide connectivity into its products, and the ii-P7 aligns with this vision, being fully equipped with IPC-CFX and Hermes-compliant protocols. The machine also features remote monitoring capabilities and predictive consumable replenishment, both as standard features.
