Q. How do you view Gujarat’s overall ecosystem for companies operating in your segment?

A. Gujarat, specifically Gandhinagar Electronics GIDC, has been a hub for printed circuit board manufacturing for almost 35 years. There are more than 40 small- to mid-sized manufacturing units with expertise in various products, including metal-clad, single-sided, double-sided, multilayer, and flexible PCBs.

With our long-standing presence in this industry, we maintain consistently high standards while continuing to strengthen our market position. The PCB manufacturing industry requires highly skilled employees and a stable, high-quality supply chain. This ecosystem gives the region a competitive advantage over other manufacturing clusters in India.

Q. What kind of policy support from the Gujarat government has been most impactful for your business?

A. A streamlined approval process across government departments helps businesses align with policy and regulatory frameworks. The government’s commitment to uninterrupted 24/7 electricity helps us meet customer expectations and deliver goods on time.

Strong connectivity from Gandhinagar to major cities via road, rail, and air also helps reduce delivery times.

Q. What motivated CircuitWala to participate in EFY Expo Gujarat, and how valuable was the platform?

EFY is one of the most recognised names in India’s electronics industry. One of the key advantages for us is that the platform is affordable.

A. At CircuitWala, we focus on prototypes and quick-turnaround orders. During our first time exhibiting in Pune, we experienced significant footfall from genuine customers. It helped us strengthen our presence in the Mumbai-Pune electronics market.

We later participated in the Chennai edition and then in the Gandhinagar event, our home market. We have been in this industry since 2013. It was our first time exhibiting in Gujarat, and we did so with EFY. The response exceeded our expectations.

We are now preparing for the next exhibition scheduled for November 2026.

Q. What are CircuitWala’s growth plans in Gujarat over the next few years?

A. Soon, we will launch a new online ordering system that will allow customers greater flexibility in delivery windows and clearer visibility into order status.

We are also expanding our multilayer manufacturing capabilities in the near future.

Q. How does Gujarat fit into your broader national or global expansion roadmap?

A. A stable political environment, strong infrastructure, and business-friendly policies encourage us to expand our presence nationally and internationally.

Q. What key challenges do you face while scaling in the Gujarat market?

A. Challenges are not limited to any particular state or market. It is largely similar across regions.

In Gujarat specifically, many companies were unfamiliar with our brand before the EFY Expo. As a result, competitors had already captured a share of the market. Without negotiating on price and payment terms, securing orders can become difficult.

However, confidence in our quality and service helps us navigate these challenges.

Q. What marketing strategies are you adopting to strengthen CircuitWala’s presence in the Gujarat market?

A. We focus on single-point communication for both technical and commercial discussions, real-time transparency in order status, and a strict policy of no hidden costs.

We emphasise professionalism in business while remaining mindful of clients’ situations and making every effort to meet their expectations. Ultimately, we are Indian, and we believe in building relationships that extend beyond transactions.
