Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
- Technical lead role for development of HW systems, evaluation boards and demonstrators
- Deep understanding of HW design workflow, including schematic entry, layout, Gerber preparation and PCB manufacturing nuances
- Embedded firmware owner/definer for Infineon’s automotive MCU product family
- Product-to-system activities such as interoperability experiments, throughput analysis, etc
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
- Bachelors / Masters in Electronics / Communication / Instrumentation with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong circuit know-how and a tinkering mindset, to be able to understand embedded systems at a block-diagram level, select optimal HW components, develop hardware schematics, create bring-up plans for new silicon and new evaluation boards.
- Willingness to learn, think out of the box and innovate; use debug tools such as oscilloscopes, debuggers, and protocol analysers for optimising end-systems
