Emil Otto introduces EO-M-026, a ready-to-use, high-performance flux specifically designed for soldering and tinning nickel-based alloys, especially nitinol. This innovative, water-based formula is free of zinc, halides, and VOCs (0%) and combines powerful inorganic activators with complex organic additives and wetting agents.

Due to its highly concentrated formulation and robust activator system, it delivers excellent wetting characteristics and ensures minimal residue after processing. The flux supports clean, consistent soldering even on challenging materials like nitinol, which is known for its stable oxide layer that complicates soldering. The flux can be applied flexibly via dosing, dipping, immersion, or selective soldering. Its transparent liquid form is non-flammable, odor-mild, and safe to handle, making it ideal for sensitive applications.
