The ASIC BU PTE Team which’s part of the Digital Business Unit is seeking a Product & Test engineer who’ll play a key role in testing state-of-the-art mixed signal & Digital SoC devices which are complex and industry leading. You’ll become an integral member of the development team, participate in developing innovative, high-performance, production-ready hardware and software test solutions for our ASIC BU product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Design of innovative, reliable and efficient Probe and Test solutions on high performance mixed-signal/Digital ATE platforms (primarily ultra-flex and 93K) for multi-site parallel testing
- Development of the ATE software solutions as per specifications
- Play a role in DFT/BIST definition & development, through direct involvement with the Design Team early in the New Product Development, to reduce FFC and improve testability
- Execution of the Test development phases of the projects including Silicon functionality, Characterisation, Yield Analysis, Correlation & Offshore Production release
Key Qualifications
- Have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Have 4-5years’ of hands-on experience in mixed signal or digital test
- Have knowledge of the ATE software development and working knowledge of Teradyne Flex and/or 93K ATE systems
- Have good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of the Perl/C++ programming
- Be experienced in ATE high-speed digital h/w design & layout, with lead skills in understanding the problems/limitations in hardware development
- Be experienced in releasing multi-site test programs to offshore production test houses
- Be well versed with the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI meter, Signal generator and analysers
- Be capable of working with the reliability engineers on the product qual
- Be proactive and work under own supervision
- Be self-motivated and willing to accept responsibility
- Possess strong interpersonal, teamwork & communication skills
