Unlike incremental lithium-ion upgrades, the portfolio combines multi-chemistry innovation with system-level integration. The third-generation Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery focuses on ultra-fast charging without compromising durability, retaining over 90 percent capacity after 1,000 cycles. The third-generation Qilin Battery improves energy density while reducing weight and energy consumption, while the Qilin Condensed Battery pushes these gains further to enable significantly longer driving ranges.

The launch included:

In terms of specifications, the Shenxing battery supports up to 15C peak charging, reaching 80 percent in under four minutes and near full charge in about six minutes, even in sub-zero conditions. The Qilin battery delivers 280 Wh per kg and up to 1,000 km range, while the Qilin Condensed variant reaches 350 Wh per kg and enables up to 1,500 km range using high-nickel cathodes and silicon-carbon anodes. The Freevoy hybrid battery combines LFP and NCM chemistries for extended range and performance. The Naxtra sodium-ion battery is advancing toward GWh-scale production. The integrated network includes 4,000 planned stations combining home charging, public charging, and battery swapping into a unified system.

Robin Zeng, Chairman and CEO of CATL, emphasized at the conference that industrial innovation must be driven by a rigorous scientific spirit. For Chinese technology to go global, it relies not just on speed and scale, but on the quality of innovation, the ability to validate, and the credibility of the brand.
