As a Safety Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our industry-leading networking products meet the highest safety standards. You will:
- Innovate and design for safety, conducting thorough product testing to 62368-1 for regulatory certification.
- Dive into PCB design layout and stack-up reviews, as well as schematic and product construction reviews.
- Develop comprehensive safety compliance program plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Participate in audits to ensure alignment to regulatory standards and accreditations.
- Communicate status updates, test schedules, and resolve issues with the Hardware development team.
- File compliance reports with regulatory agencies (UL/CSA) and maintain meticulous documentation of compliance activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent + 5 years of related experience or Masters + 3 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of IEC62368-1 standard
- Experience testing according to IEC62368-1
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of PCB design/layout/stack-up.
- Proficiency in Python, SCPI, or other automated data collection techniques.
- A knack for building strong relationships and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to handle numerous concurent projects.
