This role is contributing to the Process Automation business of the Process Industries Division in the Bengaluru location.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Study /Analysis of customer RFQs
- Clarification of customer requirements
- Use of in-house calculation tools to determine the scope/size and costs of greenfield and brownfield projects
- Prepare supplier specifications & RFQs
- Collect internal cost sheets (PZ) from engineering, project management, shipping dept etc.
- Technical presentations to customers
- Preparation of SLD, Concept, and plant layout drawings
- Preparation of complete cost sheet and technical Offer
- Local Front-end Sales Activities such as visiting customers, on-site tender clarification, negotiation etc.
Qualifications for the Role
- Minimum B.Tech/ B.E from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience in Plants/process industry projects involving electrical equipment such as large transformers, rectifiers/drives, HV/MV switchgear, Harmonic Filters, Control Systems, Level-2 automation etc.
- Electrical equipment dimensioning & design of systems involving power semiconductor devices
- Technical sales of electrical equipment with power semiconductor devices. Experience in High Power Rectifiers will be an added advantage
- A quick grasp for user and functional requirements
- Good oral and written communication skills in English. Other languages (e.g., German, Russian, French, Spanish, etc.) will be of added advantage.
- 4-5 years of relevant technical sales work experience in electrical systems & High Power Rectifiers. Experience in ABB-make HPR is desirable
