An experienced Electronics Technician with hands-on expertise in PCB assembly, soldering, testing, and rework. Skilled in supporting lab operations, maintaining equipment, and assisting in R&D and production environments, particularly in defense and Robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering and rework of SMT and PTH components.
- Assist in PCB assembly (surface mount, through-hole, and mixed technologies).
- Conduct card-level testing and troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
- Operate lab equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Assist in R&D activities and prototype development.
- Maintain proper documentation and test records.
- Identify and help resolve customer complaints and supplier rejections.
- Ensure compliance with ESD safety and IPC standards.
- Train and guide junior technicians when required.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of electronics components (passive & active)
- Good understanding of PCB and Circuits
- Hands-on experience in manual soldering and rework techniques
- Basic knowledge of testing and debugging circuits
Qualification
Diploma/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent
Experience
- 3 t0 6 years in electronics manufacturing/assembly
- Experience in Defense & Robotics projects is an advantage
- Background in production and R&D environments
