This role will play a key part in ensuring reliable lab operations and supporting engineering teams with assembly, testing, and measurement tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Solder critical components required for optical modules and associated hardware.
- Help engineers by adding high-speed probes for power and signal integrity measurements.
- Support routine lab operations including setup, calibration, maintenance, and inventory management of lab equipment.
- Assist with mechanical assembly of modules and fixtures as needed.
- Provide day-to-day lab support to engineering and technical teams.
Qualifications
- Experience in a laboratory environment supporting hardware or optics projects.
- Skilled in soldering and assembling delicate or high-precision components.
- Familiarity with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and probes.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with engineering staff.
