The team is looking for an ES who is responsible for the design and deployment of systems, which carry out calibration and performance validation of the Sensors Function on a well known tablet product line. The ES will be responsible for the full spectrum of the lifecycle of the test system – from prototyping to deployment at mass production. This ES will work closely with the Sensors group to define calibration and test procedures, and design high precision instrumentation & systems to be able to perform this efficiently in a factory environment.
Scope
- Setup and maintenance of factory process controls, documentation, HW requests, SW bundle validation and release, BOM review, tracking & reporting dry-run and build issues, yield & retest improvements, CM training & coordination etc. Detailed list below.
- Work collaboratively with Apple DRI team in partnership with Station DRIs, CM DRIs, OpsTE to execute tasks throughout the project build stages.
- Ensure all tasks and deliverables are completed on time to satisfy dry run, build and post-build objectives for each project. Suggest improvements.
System DRI Engineers Requirements
- Development and deployment of product calibration and testing
- Develop, optimise and debug station software in C/C++/Objective-C ( some Lua/Python Scripting)
- Specify and acquire equipment, components and tools for use in NPI environment
- Specify and validate the required mechanical fixtures for calibrating and measuring devices
- Deploy calibration and performance verification systems throughout the NPI/build cycle
- Analyze large amounts of sensor data and adopt data-driven approach to solving engineering challenges
- Debug test/calibration of product system level down to component level
- Work towards a scheduled build and manage own and others deliverables for success.
