To support the silicon photonics modelling team in the development of best-of-breed compact models for a wide range of optical and electro-optical devices
Your Job
- Assist in the design and physical layout of SiPh device characterisation structures
- Assist in the development of scripts to perform model parameter extraction from characterisation results
- Assist in the development and coding (VerilogA) of compact device models
- Development of automation flow and scripts for repetitive tasks
Other Responsibilities
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications
- Education – Actively pursuing a PhD in Physics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
- Language Fluency – English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior related internship or co-op experience
- Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
- Strong applied mathematical skills
- Strong programming skills, e.g., MatLab, Python, R, etc.
