About the Internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assist in designing IoT/ embedded firmware for SOS-enabled disaster recovery wearable devices
- Work on BLE, LoRaWAN, GPS, and RF modules for multichannel emergency communication
- Develop and test SOS trigger logic for reliable signal transmission during disasters
- Support PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and sensor integration activities
- Write and test device drivers for communication modules and peripherals.
- Optimise power consumption for long battery life in emergency scenarios
- Perform unit testing and field-testing of SOS communication reliability
- Assist in basic ML algorithms for movement, fall, or distress detection
- Debug firmware issues using logs, JTAG, UART, and logic analysers
- Document system design, test cases, and daily development progress

Who Can Apply

Other Requirements
- Final-year or recent graduate in ECE, EEE, CSE, or instrumentation
- Basic knowledge of embedded C/C++ and microcontroller programming
- Familiarity with IoT protocols like BLE, LoRaWAN, GPS, or RF is a plus
- Understanding of basic electronics, sensors, and power management
- Exposure to PCB design, schematics, or hardware debugging preferred
- Interest in disaster management, wearables, or safety-focused products
- Hands-on mindset with strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn firmware, drivers, and low-level system design
- Ability to document work and communicate technical progress clearly
- Passion for building real-world, impact-driven IoT products
