Provide Support to Global Field Sales by providing:
- Technical assistance including valve sizing and selection, construction compatibility, and field problem solving.
- Work with Plants in Europe and AP (global teams) to provide product cost data and lead-time to a Marshalltown Sales Engineer (other Sales Engineers) to quote final pricing.
- Work with quotation specialists to identify due dates and priority of quote activity.
- Create a quotation log of current and completed quotes with final pricing, track wins and losses, and report data per month to the Power industry manager and also to other Industry Manager.
- Commercial engagement for value-led pricing resolve with awareness to corporate agreement strategy, account management planning, and multi-division pursuits.
- Coordination of customer sales presentations, product specific proposals, and application solution reviews.
- Promote of Corporate Image by:
- Preparation and to drive technical papers and local trade show exhibits
- Represent Emerson in the highest professional manner in all business situations
Required Education, Experience & Skills
- BS in Engineering, or qualified technical 4-year degree and combined experience
- Technical capability
- Driven to work with people
- Strong communication and business skills
