The ideal candidate should have worked on small form factor devices such as TWS (True Wireless Stereo), cameras, chargers, wearables or similar products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-layer PCB layouts for compact electronic products
- Work on high-density, small-size boards with strict space constraints
- Component placement, routing and optimization for performance and manufacturability
- Generate Gerber files, BOM and fabrication/assembly drawings
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams
- Perform DFM, DFA and basic EMI/EMC considerations
- Support prototype bring-up, testing and debugging
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturers for production support
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PCB layout tools (Altium Designer / Cadence Allegro / KiCad)
- Hands-on experience in designing small form factor boards (TWS, cameras, chargers, wearables etc.)
- Good understanding of high-speed routing, power integrity and grounding techniques
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, PCB fabrication and assembly
- Experience in multi-layer PCB design (4+ layers preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in consumer electronics products
- Exposure to EMI/EMC guidelines and testing
- Familiarity with battery-powered designs and power management circuits
