GAPTEC Electronic has introduced the 10S8W4_2.25RP, a 10W DC/DC converter designed for industrial applications where compact size, wide input range, and reliable operation are required.

The converter delivers up to 2.25kVDC regulated output with a 4:1 input voltage range. It can reach up to 88% efficiency and consumes only 0.05W in standby, which makes it suitable for systems where energy efficiency is important. Its 450kHz switching frequency helps maintain low electromagnetic interference and allows for more compact power designs.

The 10S8W4_2.25RP incorporates several protection features, including input undervoltage protection, continuous short-circuit protection with self-recovery, and overcurrent protection. These measures ensure stable operation even in challenging conditions. The module also provides 2250VDC isolation, supports a temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, and uses a standardized pin layout to simplify integration into existing designs.

This converter is intended for engineers and system designers working in areas such as industrial automation, distributed power systems, instrumentation, and energy management.
