ASUS IoT has introduced a single-board computer for IIoT, featuring a compact design, diverse OS support, and enhanced GPU performance with versatile industrial applications.

ASUS IoT is a sub-brand of ASUS dedicated to the creation of incredible solutions in the fields of AI and IoT have announced the Tinker Board 3N series, An ARM-based single-board computer (SBC) for the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The Next Unit of Computing (NUC) sized SBC series supports Linux Debian, Yocto, and Android, offering an option for various IIoT projects. The company claims that the thermal design ensures efficient operation, while its durable build and enhanced computing performance make it suitable for smart manufacturing applications in the IoT revolution.

The company claims that the board offers enhanced GPU performance for graphics processing with low energy usage. It is suitable for IoT gateway, human-machine interfacing (HMI), and factory automation. The board includes mechanical design improvements for suitable embedded application use. It features a low-profile pushpin heatsink and System on Chip (SoC) placement on the back for added durability and easy installation. Its compact NUC-scale dimensions allow for deployment in space-constrained areas and flexible system integration. It operates smoothly within a temperature range of -40 to 85°C, meeting the demands of industrial automation.

  • Memory: Dual-CH LPDDR4X on-board​ technology with sizes of 2 GB / 4 GB / 8 GB

  • Interfaces: PoE, LVDS, COM, CAN bus, M.2 E and M.2 B, onboard LVDS supports
  • Operating systems: Linux, Debian, Yocto or Android,
