MediaTek Delivers More Flagship-Class Experiences with Dimensity 9400e Mobile Platform

MediaTek introduced its new flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9400e. Built on the company’s All Big Core architecture, the Dimensity 9400e adds to MediaTek’s line of high-end processors. It gives device makers more choices and offers strong performance and energy efficiency for AI, connectivity, imaging, and gaming.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400e is built using TSMC’s third-generation 4nm process and features an All Big Core CPU architecture. It includes four high-performance Cortex-X4 cores and four Cortex-A720 cores (2.0GHz), balancing strong performance with power efficiency for multitasking and demanding apps.

For graphics, the chipset includes a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU that supports hardware-level mobile ray tracing. This enables realistic lighting effects and enhances gaming visuals to near-console levels. MediaTek HyperEngine and Adaptive Gaming Technology ensure stable high-frame-rate gaming with low power use. The MediaTek Frame Rate Converter can further reduce power consumption by up to 40%.

On the AI side, the Dimensity 9400e supports the latest MediaTek NeuroPilot SDK, allowing fast and secure on-device use of large and small language models. It features improved inference decoding and supports models like DeepSeek-R1-Distill, Qwen1.5B, Llama7B/8B, Gemini Nano with Multimodality, and LLaVA-1.5 7B.

For imaging, the chipset includes an 18-bit RAW ISP and AI-powered video features like 16-layer semantic segmentation and high-dynamic noise reduction using three microphones. These features provide advanced photo and video capabilities for mobile content creators.
