An edge AI system fuses video, audio and sensor streams, processing industrial risks in real time where latency and control quietly define outcomes.
HCLTech has introduced VisionX 2.0, an upgraded multi-modal AI edge platform developed with NVIDIA. The system focuses on enabling real time intelligence in mission critical industrial settings, particularly where latency, safety and data control are central requirements.
The platform integrates computer vision, vision language models, multi modal data fusion and edge optimized generative AI within a secure edge framework. It is built on NVIDIA’s physical AI computing stack, incorporating Blueprint for video search and summarization, DeepStream, Cosmos Reason VLM and TAO for post training of vision models, forming the core processing layer for industrial workloads.
Designed for on premises deployment, the system operates on NVIDIA Jetson modules, RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs and Dell NativeEdge infrastructure. By shifting inference to the edge, it is structured to limit bandwidth dependency, support data privacy mandates and enable faster response times in distributed environments.
A multi modal AIoT engine processes video, audio, images, LiDAR, stereo camera feeds and IoT telemetry streams to identify anomalies, safety violations and operational risks. Selected computer vision clips can be routed through a video search and summarization based reviewer, where additional natural language processing based reasoning is applied to help filter false positives and generate scene level context.
Security architecture is based on a zero trust model with zero touch provisioning on Dell NativeEdge OS, while an integration layer enables compatibility with existing cameras, video management systems and sensors across industrial sites.
